Instructional videos for PayPal-business go live

Yesterday PayPal launched its redesigned PayPal-Business site. We created two videos in PayPal’s new brand guidelines, demonstrating, firstly the difference between two payments options, and secondly where your money goes when you are paid by PayPal. The first distinguishes the difference between PayPal Website Payments Standard, which is the free easier option, and PayPal Website Payments Pro which is a much more complete payment system but carries a small monthly fee.

They can be found on the PayPal-Business website, or on youtube, or you can view them below. So if you have an online business and are keen to install a payments system, have a good look below!

PayPal new home page video

We were asked again to update the homepage video banner on the PayPal site. We are happy to see it is already live, especially a banner that will be seen by so many visitors while sitting on the PayPal homepage.

We also recently delivered 3 pieces of work for the send money part of the PayPal website. We redesigned and rebuilt the Send Money form, updating it into the new brand guidelines. It is remarkably quick and easy to send money using this form. We also built a new banner to play as a header for the website and finally we created a demo to accompany this part of the website so that if it is not clear how to use it then any questions could be answered in the video. So if someone owes you money then get them on PayPal SendMoney and you could get paid back immediately!

PayPal needs to be able to explain who they are, what they do, and what benefits they offer to a wide spectrum of audience profiles.  So this information must be clear, accessible and engaging.  As part of our ongoing delivery of online marketing collateral to PayPal, Digital White have just created their new animated homepage banner to provide an overview of “PayPal”.

We devised a method to create animated videos, with the reflections and the keylines overlaid, as part of their new brand guidelines.  Users now land on the PayPal homepage and within 30 seconds have a clear overview of what  PayPal is and how it benefit them!

We are very happy :-) to announce that we have just delivered an Apps hub for all those cool apps that we have created and will continue to deliver in the future. Facebook, Air, iPhone and web based apps are active and soon more will be deployed so that PayPal can be seamlessy integrated in the every day digital and social exprience that makes life so much easier.

Security Key Campaign

DW has finished a new campaign for PayPal UK, promoting their latest measure to ensure customer security. The new SMS Security Key feature provides an extra layer of account protection – all PayPal users need to do is activate the SMS Security service, and then each time they log into their account a unique 6-digit code is sent to their mobile phone. The code is entered alongside their usual log-in details, meaning their account is super-secure and effectively “locked” against illegal entry.

PayPal Is Quicker & Easier Than Cheques

DW have just finished a new campaign for PayPal, which highlights the benefits eBay sellers get when using PayPal over cheques.

We’ve created a cool set of userflows which show the eBay experience sellers have when receving payment by cheque, and how much quicker this experience becomes once PayPal is used instead. In addition to the landing page, we produced 2 accompanying emails and banner designs. PayPal were so pleased with the final results that we’ve been commissioned to produce a similarly compelling landing page for eBay buyers.
